We had a wonderful time over the New Year's weekend with our families in south Georgia and Alabama. We look forward to a very happy New Year with the addition of our newest family member. We are very excited about leaving on Saturday, Jan. 7th, for our trip to Russia. God willing, we will be on that Delta jet and not get another "I'm sorry, but...." phone call from our agency. There is so much to do this week to get ready. Luckily, Kellie's bag and the gift/donation bag has been packed for almost a month. Now its just trying to figure out what all to pack (and to leave at home) for me and Jim.
I played around with adding a picture to the blog today. It didn't turn out too clear. Maybe it will be better while we are in Russia. Posting pictures and information about our trip is the whole reason for this blog. Hopefully I can figure it out. If not, you can see the pictures when we get home.
