Tour of Moscow

This morning Jim and I got out of our individual twin beds reluctantly about 0920. The only reason I made myself get up (and believe it or not, wake up Jim) was the idea of the free breakfast buffet. It closes at 1000. After breakfast we walked around near the hotel for a bit, then we took the shuttle to Red Square. We had planned on touring it today, but they were having a special presentation today and it was closed to individuals, unless you wanted a tour guide. So we are going there tomorrow since our flight to Kemerovo doesn't leave until after 10pm. We walked to St. Basil's and around town, then down Old Arbat Street, which is great for shopping. We did quite a bit. Just what we needed, more stuff to lug around. The 7 bags we already had, - the one still missing, just wasn't enough. I'm getting ready to go to the receptionist and see if she can help find out something about our suitcase. We decided not to bring my computer which has the SD card slot for pictures. Jim's doesn't have one. We'll have to go to a camera store and get a CD made before we can add pictures to the blog. That may not happen until we get to Kemerovo.
That's all for today. We are going to rest a while, then go out to dinner.
