Kellie is A-Okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kellie's original appointment with the pediatric cardiologist was scheduled for the 17th. Since Jim is leaving for Asia on the 14th I called and changed the appointment. I wanted to know about her heart condition before Jim left. I took Kellie to the pediatric cardiologist this morning. We have a wonderful blessing of good health. She had an EKG and a heart ultrasound as well as the doctor checking her over and listening to her heart. He said that the tests all came back normal. He did not see any defects or any enlargement of the heart. He did hear what he called a faint blood flow murmur. He said this is normal in a lot of babies and that the sound will fade away in time. It is just the sound of the blood flowing through the heart. He wants Kellie to come back in one year for a check up. This is such a blessing because it was the main health issue that we were concerned about. Thank you all for your prayers.

Kellie was 31 inches long and weighed 18 lbs. 12 oz. On her initial doctor visit two Mondays ago she was 29 inches long and weighed 17.9 lbs. We knew a lot of her clothes were getting too short for her, but thought some it might be due to washing & drying them. Now we know its due to her growing two inches in just two weeks. I bought her some 18 months size sleepers today that fit perfectly. If she keeps this up she will outpace her 2 year old cousin Paige. We have really appreciated all of Paige's clothes that she has out grown. By next year, though, the roles may be reversed.
