Tadpoles

Here are a few pictures of the the kids at the beach and the pool. The boys have really enjoyed the pool. They were spending several hours a day in there. Kellie would also like to stay in there. Everytime she sees the pool she points and starts trying to get to it. Good thing there is a pool alarm on the back doors and back windows of the beach house.

Alex's days in the pool are gone for the next 2-4 weeks. He decided last week to jump down half a flight of stairs going from the 3rd floor to the 2nd and landed wrong on his foot. He broke two bones in his right foot. I took him to the ER Friday morning and had it x-rayed. The doctor told me it was just a sprain and to give him an anti inflamatory. Sunday morning a nurse called from the ER and said that the radiologist had looked at the x-ray and said he didn't see how the doctor on Friday missed the two breaks. We had to go back to the ER to get his foot splinted. Alex went back home with Jim Sunday night so he could take him to our orthopedic on Monday. Now Alex has a red & black cast almost up to his knee and has to wear it for 2-4 weeks. He will have a cast and be using crushes during the first 1-3 weeks of school. They start back on Aug. 7.
