Cruise Time

Jim, Alex, & Blake at Grand Cayman.
Formal dinner night on the ship. Kellie went to playtime and the boys elected to go for pizza and skip dressing up---surprise, surprise!
The Mayan Ruins at Tulum were spectacular. I've seen National Geographic shows about it, but until you are standing there looking at it you really can't appreciate the beauty and history of it. Our tour guide was very informative. The beach at the bottom of the cliff was absolutely gorgeous. We had time to go for a short swim during our tour.
Kellie had such fun playing at the water park on the ship.
Even Jim and Greg had fun going down the big water slide.

The kids had their winter break this week. We decided to head down to warmer weather and take advantage of the Carribean sun. The five of us plus Greg and Alona went on a Carnival 5 night cruise out of Tampa. We drove down to Blakely Friday afternoon then got up early Saturday and drove to Tampa. The cruise was fun and restful. The kids each had their own separate play groups/clubs to hang out with. Kellie had fun going to playtime with her new friends and the boys had the run of the ship with their friends. We made stops at Grand Cayman and Calica. At Georgetown we just spent the day shopping since we've been there several times. Greg and Alona did a tour. At Calica Greg, Alona, Jeanette, and boys did a tour of the Mayan Ruins of Tulum while Jim and Kellie spent the day on the ship relaxing. We arrived back in Tampa Saturday morning and then we drove to Blakely and dropped off Greg and Alona, ate dinner with Mema & Pop, and then drove on home. I miss that sunny warm weather already!

That looks like so much fun. A night out without kids - I don't remember what those are. :)
