Day 5

We talked to Jim this morning (which was Sat. night for him). He said some of his friends had arrived at the hotel. He and Kelly (also from Milliken) ate Sushi downstairs at the Hyatt restaurant. They have a free day on Sunday. Jim and some others are going shopping and site seeing, while Kelly and some are going on a train ride out in the country. Jim said he'd had enough of train rides. His bullet train ride was about 2 hours each way. Jim still has that hacking cough he's had since before we went to Russia. I told him he needed to go buy a bottle of bourbon. It would probably help the cough and help him sleep.
Kellie got her official United States of America Certificate of Citizenship certificate in the mail today. Although we were told she would be an U.S. citizen as soon as we landed in the U.S., we now we have the official paper. Now we are waiting to get her SS card in the mail. We were told that it would be applied for automatically by all of the papers we signed at the US Embassy in Moscow. If we don't get it soon, I'll have to call and check on it. We also have to readopt her here in Coweta county to get a US birth certificate for her.
We just got back from Blockbuster renting a couple of movies for this rainy Saturday afternoon. The birthday party isn't until 6pm. This will give us something to do this afternoon. Kellie has also learned to put her arms up in the air when she wants to be picked up.
