Double rain out

Debbie, the coach's wife, just called about 9pm to tell us that Blake's two games for Sunday have also been cancelled. They have been practicing since the beginning of January and were hoping to play. It has been raining all day here and it is still raining. I hate they don't get to play ball this weekend, but I'm glad not to have Kellie and all of us sitting out in this cool wet weather all day. The good side of this is that now we will be home to go to church in the morning.
After getting home this morning from our attempt at going to play baseball we just stayed home all day. I don't think it stopped raining all day. The boys and I pulled out some of their old VHS movies and we watched a couple. We watched "Tom and Huck" and "Independence Day". Kellie played with us or napped while we watched the movies.
I've been home all month and it seems nothing on my major "to do" list has gotten done. I just don't feel like sewing, cleaning, ironing, exercising, or doing yard work,(or much of anything else). I have put out fertilizer and clipped the crepe myrtles, but that is it for outside. We just happened to have a warm pretty day last week, so I took Kellie out in the stroller while I did a couple of things. I've been on the treadmill only once. I was hoping to work out everyday and get firmed up by the time Jim got home and I had to go back to work. Summer is just around the corner---swimsuit time again. Mom was here most of the week (she left this morning) and we didn't do any sewing. She was willing, I just didn't feel like it. Of course the boys were home all week and with it raining we had to keep them somewhat occupied. I do laundry all the time, but have not "deep" cleaned anything. I've swept and vacuumed, but thats about it. Maybe I will at least get the house cleaned up before Jim comes home. I finally got all of our tax stuff together. Now I just need to go to the post office or UPS store and mail it to the accountant. Well, none of it is going to happen tonight, so I'm going to bed. By this time tomorrow Jim will be in Shanghai.
