1st Day of School

Today is the 1st day of school for all three kids. Alex is starting 8th grade and will be going to a brand new middle school. Our neighborhood was the cutoff for the new district lines. Most of his friends from his old school will stay at the old school. Only his friends (which there are many) from our neighborhood will be at the new school. He'll have the opportunity to make a lot of new friends this year. Blake will be starting 5th grade at the same elementary school. They are both excited to have some of their friends in their homeroom class. This is Alex's last year of middle school and Blake's last year of elementary school. They won't be in the same school again. By the time Blake gets in high school, Alex will be in college. Kellie even starts a new "school" today. Our neighbor that was keeping her when I flew has started working more at her other job and has stopped keeping kids. We enrolled Kellie in a local daycare/school so she can have more interaction with kids her age. She starts at All Stars Academy this morning. I'll start trying to fly more during the week and be off more on the weekends now.

KELLIE STARTED CRAWLING last week. Finally!! She started at the beach while playing with Sean and Paige. We are hoping that the interaction with more kids her age will help her to catch up even more. She is doing so well. She is almost walking by herself. She will walk around holding onto the sofa or furniture, but wants you to hold both of her hands to go for a walk. She is such a joy and a sweet baby. She loves to give big hugs and kisses.
