Only 3 more days
The count down is going down fast. Only 3 more days and Jim will be home. We pick him up Friday night at the airport. He will be flying into San Francisco from China, then on to Atlanta. He has been in Shanghai since Sunday afternoon. He says the food in China is awful. That Chinese-Chinese food is nothing like American-Chinese food. He and several from his group have been going to eat at the local Pizza Hut and McDonIald's to get "good nourishment". He called this morning when he and some friends got in from dinner and shopping. He said he bought two "Armani" jackets for under $20 each, plus several Mont Blonc pens, and a few other items at the market. He said he didn't know if they were "knock offs" or if they "feel off a truck". He's going to have to buy another suitcase to bring back all of the things he purchased. Its been raining there most of the day. They may try to go shopping again tomorrow night. They are all ready to leave China. Everyone has been complaining. He said most of them liked Hong Kong the best and that if it wasn't so far away we would go back for a vacation.
Nothing much going on here. The boys started back to school yesterday after being out a week for winter break. Now they can't wait for spring break in April and getting out of school in May. It seems like it was just Christmas and its already March! (-one day) The year is going by so fast. Today Kellie is going to her new babysitter's house for a couple of hours. She lives just around the corner from us in our neighborhood. I've got to get her used to staying with Stephanie some so she won't be so shocked next week when I go back to work. I can't believe I've been off for two months already. Kellie and I are going to have lunch with Blake before we go to Stephanie's.
