Amazon Jim
Jim called this morning from the airport in Manaus, Brazil to give me the number of an international phone that he has rented for him and a friend with Milliken. Kelly has the Milliken international phone with her, but they couldn't get it to work in Manaus. The class left Panama yesterday and flew to Sao Paulo and spent the night. Then got up this morning and flew to Manaus. He called a little later and said they were getting on a boat to go somewhere in the Amazon to the lodge or huts that they were staying in tonight. I hope they have some heavy duty bug spray! They will be going back to Sao Paulo on Tuesday, then flying home during Friday night. I'll let you know more about his adventures when I hear back from him.
On the home front, we didn't have anything as exciting as the Amazon happening around here today. We went to church, helped paint inside and "spruce up" around the neighborhood clubhouse, then had baseball practice from 4-7. Tomorrow is Kellie's doctor appointment for her next checkup. This is the last week of school for the boys. They only have a 1/2 day on Friday. We are hoping that our cousin Chelsea, who has her last exam on Monday, is going to come on Thursday to visit for a few days. Then we pick up Jim Saturday morning at the airport and head over to Blake's baseball tournament. We don't have the time schedule yet, but we play Saturday & Sunday.
